How PK and karma work
Karma and PK
- Killing a white player adds karma. More cumulative PK means more karma for the next kill, up to 15,000 for one late PK. This is not a cap on total karma.
- PK count is cumulative and remains after karma is cleared. A character is red while karma is above zero.
Clearing karma and reputation
- Monster kills remove karma using base EXP, without server, account, map, VIP or Rage multipliers. Each monster removes 1–250 karma; weaker monsters, partial damage and shared party EXP may remove less.
- Clearing 105,000 karma requires at least 420 full kills of strong monsters.
- Attacking a player activates a 40-second PvP flag. Killing a red player adds 600 seconds of blue-name reputation.
Item drops on death
- Items can drop only with karma above zero and at least 5 cumulative PK. First, the overall 10% PK-drop chance is checked. Then the selected item’s category chance applies.
- Inventory — 50%; equipped armor, jewelry, earrings, pets, Pentagram and other equipment — 30%; equipped weapons — 15%; equipped wings — 5%.
- At most 1 item can drop per death. PK items do not drop in Blood Castle or Devil Square.
